Problem

As each box differed in contents and focus and was curated by a different health expert, demand fluctuated immensely between editions. This caused major challenges for profitability and brand relationships.

Insight

Healthbox had mobilised a strong and involved community of health enthousiasts, who were highly willing to engage to make the brand better.

Solution

We performed an elaborate online survey amongst 5000+ buyers, providing us solid understanding of purchase motivations, health goals, product preferences, information needs, price sensitivity, timing, media consumption and improvement suggestions. We formulated a new strategy for Healthbox including product selection criteria, price point, topicality, timing and business model, while addressing the consumer’s purchase motivations directly in our marketing.

Result

Based on the client survey, we launched Healthbox’s improved proposition, website, business model and marketing, increasing revenue by 10x. We locked in recurring revenue simultaneously by adding a subscription model. Finally we moved from smaller monthly editions to larger quarterly editions, to save shipping costs and increase runtime for marketing and product sourcing.
